Sedation / Hospital Dentistry
At Maui Dental Group, we provide dental services with sedation in our office or in the hospital. The patient will be completely asleep under general anesthesia, significantly reducing trauma and discomfort while all of his/her dental treatment is being completed. Once the patient is asleep, the pediatric dentist will do a comprehensive dental exam, full mouth X-rays, a cleaning, and all dental treatment that is needed. All procedures are normally completed in one visit. Sedation Dentistry is a great option for patients who have difficulty tolerating dental treatment in a normal dental office setting and/or those who require extensive treatment (ie. full mouth restorations, developmental disabilities, etc).
