About Dr Robert Gonzalez

After serving in the U.S. Army Special Forces Airborne and as a Police Officer in Miami, Florida, Robert had a life-changing experience that led him to Chiropractic. His first child had a traumatic birth. She was very sick for her first 6 months and after multiple medical doctors, specialists, and drugs could not help her, a friend told him about Chiropractic. By then he would have tried anything! A chiropractor identified and adjusted a misalignment in his daughter's neck - it was like a miracle! Several treatments later Megan was healthy and happy.

Robert immediately changed his course in life. He knew that he had to become a Doctor of Chiropractic to help other children and families. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Life University in Marietta, Georgia then continued his studies at the Deepak Chopra Center for Wellbeing where he was trained as a Vedic Master by many respected wellness leaders. He has taught Meditation, Yoga, and Ayurveda. Since 1999 Dr Gonzalez has been integrating his knowledge of mind/body wellbeing into his chiropractic practice with a special interest in family care, pediatric care, and perinatal care. He is considered by his colleagues as a "master adjuster." Dr Gonzalez has helped thousands of patients achieve optimal health. He LOVES caring for families and he looks forward to working with you.

Dr Gonzalez and his wife of 30 years (Ann) relocated from Southern California to Maui in May 2021 to bring their love of health and wellness to the island by purchasing Anderson Chiropractic in Kahului. They live on a horse ranch upcountry with their sheep, cat, and black Labrador, Lucy, where they enjoy and care for the Aina. They are both outdoor enthusiasts and love hiking, paddling, surfing, and exploring.

I went to Dr Gonzalez because I learned he had an ArthroStim device which works like a mini jack hammer. Due to a diving accident, my neck cannot handle the typical manual adjustment, but the ArthroStim can gently nudge cervical bones into place in a very controlled manner. Anyone who is nervous about having their neck "cracked" can banish those fears with use of the ArthroStim.
