I, Lysha Kamisato Wernig, was born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui. At the young age of 4 my passion for Hula and Tahitian was born and continues to grow as a professional dancer at the Old Lahaina Luau. More than a decade ago I started my career in the fitness industry teaching at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa. In 2002, I was given the opportunity to train under Master Instructor Jean Pierre Marques and earn my certification in Kitaido yoga. In 2004, I was crowned Miss Maui with my platform being nutritional and physical education in the youth. Today, nutrition, physical fitness and yoga are a huge part of my everyday life.
