Dr Shauna Ault
Dr Shauna Ault graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After several years in conventional companion animal and equine practice, she began to pursue training in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. This opened the doors to many new and effective ways of helping her patients. Certification in veterinary chiropractic soon followed. Dr. Ault has continually added more skills and modalities over the years, becoming one of the most diverse holistic practitioners in the country.
Chiropractic Therapy
Chiropractic therapy helps animals to regain their optimum health, by restoring complete nerve signal transmission and relieving pain. Dr. Ault is certified in animal chiropractic through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Adjustments are specific and gentle. Additional techniques include Network Spinal Analysis, Bio-kinetics, massage and myofascial release, essential oils, and emotional rebalancing.
Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine
Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) incorporates acupuncture and herbal medications to restore and maintain health. Dr. Ault received acupuncture training in 1997 through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). Acupuncture is well-tolerated by most animals. Those who are too sensitive for traditional needle placement can have acupoints stimulated with light, heat, pressure, essential oils, or sound frequency. Acute issues may resolve in 1 or 2 treatments. Chronic health problems may require several treatments, or ongoing maintenance care. Chinese herbal medicine is also a powerful method of restoring and maintaining health.
Energetic Modalities
Energetic modalities include Bio-Resonance Therapy, Laser therapy, NAET allergy elimination therapy, Homeopathy, Isoenergetic remedies and emotional balancing blends specific to the animal's needs, and Reconnective Healing.
