Our Facility

Upcountry Fitness cares about providing the best equipment and training available. As research progresses, our trainers continue their education in the health, wellness and fitness fields. Our training techniques come from peer-reviewed published research, not from a magazine, and not a fad.

Opened June 1, 1998, Upcountry Fitness has been described as a "world class training facility." Unique on Maui, Upcountry Fitness is dedicated to bringing our community a full service fitness center.

Upcountry Fitness is an open air facility. When you walk in you will notice the fresh air and a different atmosphere than you find at most clubs. Upcountry Fitness has a feeling of family, free from the usual gym "attitude," a safe and comfortable place to achieve your goals.

Our Equipment

Upcountry Fitness is the only club on Maui to offer FreeMotion and Power Plate® equipment. Why should this matter to you? FreeMotion and Power Plate® equipment are used to train competitive athletes including NBA, NFL, and MLB players. The equipment offers infinite options to work your body while minimizing risks of injury. FreeMotion is the equipment of choice for competitive athletes, rehabilitation patients, active aging, and general fitness goals. FreeMotion will take you beyond what you thought was possible; its uses are limited only by your imagination.
